Prof. Seungah has recently joined HEC Paris, Doha as an assistant professor. Professor Lee was a  Senior Lecturer at New York University Abu Dhabi.  Her research broadly explores how nation-states and organizations negotiate the changing demands of a globalized world and adapt models for sustainable development to foster (social) entrepreneurship and innovation in their local contexts. Her most recent projects include studies on how semi-government organizations foster local entrepreneurship and innovation and the ways that accelerators appropriate and adapt global entrepreneurial narratives to cultivate an entrepreneurial culture among youth in the Arab Gulf. She received her PhD from Stanford University. Prior to academia, Dr. Lee worked in the Middle East, leading organizational strategy, program design, and impact evaluation for newly established education nonprofits and providing policy research and advisory services.
