About Positive Deviance:
The Positive Deviance Approach is an asset-based innovation approach and has been applied in over 50 countries and 100 projects all over the world. The approach focuses on learning from individual and community behaviors that are already practiced well, so others can adopt successful strategies to overcome and solve wicked problems. Part of this process disseminating and scaling the behaviors to secure sustainable positive outcomes over time. The approach has been used to reduce gender-based violence, reduce early marriages, decrease school drop-out rates, increase entrepreneurship, reduce staff absenteeism and improve sales and customer satisfaction in the corporate world.

During this session, you will learn about how the approach works and get a first idea of how to apply it to your own practice.

You will also have the opportunity to meet and network with CCC alumni and faculty and find out about their experience with the CCC program.
