Dr. Plambeck is an Associate Professor in the Strategy and Business Policy department of HEC Paris, which he joined in 2004. Prior to becoming the Dean and CEO of HEC Paris in Qatar, Dr. Plambeck was the Academic Director for the MSc in Strategic Management. He was also responsible for the core strategy course at the HEC Grande Ecole, and shared responsibility for the strategic implementation courses of the Executive MBA.

Dr. Plambeck has taught in a variety of programs (e.g. Consulting & Coaching for Change, Executive MBA, Masters, MBA, TRIUM Global MBA, and custom programs). In recent years, his teaching activity was centered around business strategy and strategy implementation in executive programs.
